The Firm

Illovsky Law Office provides discreet representation to board members, executives and companies in federal and state court litigation, dealings with governmental authorities, and corporate  internal investigations.  We find pragmatic solutions to our clients’ most vexing problems, assist with crisis management, and help create and implement compliance programs.  We appreciate that our work often lies at the nexus of business strategy, public relations, technology and politics.  We collaborate seamlessly with our clients’ inside legal teams and lead outside counsel.

We help diverse clients in a range of industries.  A sample of our recent engagements includes work for:  one of the world’s largest retailers; one of the world’s largest asset managers; new public companies in solar power and beverage distribution; an innovative fitness startup; and prominent research analyst, and a fund director.

Before starting this firm, Eugene Illovsky worked for over 15 years as a white collar and securities litigation partner in the Bay Area at the major international firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP.  There he developed a track record of delivering innovative legal solutions that helped protect clients’ careers and reputations.  He has tried criminal and civil trials before juries and judges and handled dozens of federal appeals.

Eugene served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of California.  As a federal prosecutor in Sacramento, he investigated and prosecuted a broad range of white-collar offenses, from intellectual property and investment fraud to political corruption and tax.  The Department of Justice gave him a national award for Superior Performance, and he received commendations from the Attorney General and the Director of the FBI.

The Illovsky Law Office’s service philosophy is to deliver to all clients:  deep legal knowledge and creative analysis; fresh and bold tactics and elegant strategies for solving legal problems; the benefits of broad experience in government, in practice, and in court as well as out; and personalized, efficient, and value-minded service.
